About Hampton Manor

The Richmond Symphony Orchestra League (RSOL) presents our 16th Designer House, Hampton Manor, in Midlothian, VA.  With more than 5,300 square feet, the Designer House showcases spaces that are magnificently transformed by over 20 top interior and landscape designers. The house opens in September with the elegant Preview Gala on September 12.  Tours, the Café and Boutique open September 15 to October 13, 2014.  Join us for Thirsty Thursdays, our wine & music fundraiser soirees held on Thursday evenings.  All parking is on-site. This is the second time in 30 years, the Richmond Symphony Orchestra League has selected a new home as the Designer House. Hampton Manor is located in the uniquely authentic Hallsley, an East West Communities new master planned community located near the Village of Midlothian.

Local Richmond luxury home builder, Bel Arbor Builders, is constructing the over 5,300 square foot home, named Hampton Manor for its architectural charm in the rich tradition of The Hamptons' shingle style.  Bel Arbor has been named previously "Builder of the Year" by the Homebuilders' Association of Richmond (under 25 homes) and awarded "Best of Virginia" by Virginia Living Magazine for the past three consecutive years.  Joe Hill, president of the Bel Arbor team, has been a leader in area real estate development and construction for over 20 years.

The stone and cedar shake exterior of this new home is reminiscent of a New England manor. This never-before built four bedroom, four and a half bath home has over 4,200 square feet of inside living space, with an additional 1,100 square feet of finished outdoor space that includes two screened-in porches and a front entry courtyard. The home features smart technology components including a catering kitchen.   Stone details and wooden beam work in the ceilings help to bring the outdoors in with an array of finishes typically found only on the exterior.  Extensive windows and multiple access points to the outdoor spaces also contribute to a flow from outside to indoors.

Once inside, the space is open and flowing with a grand spiral staircase to greet you in the two-story foyer. The front courtyard, study, dining room, and family room are immediately visible when you enter the home. The entertaining kitchen with center island and eat-in kitchen feature coffered ceilings and a gridded beam treatment. Both are open to the family room and screened-in downstairs porch as well as overlooking a fireplace and built-in cabinetry. The master suite is located off of the family room and features expanded living space with bayed windows, his and her closets, double vanity, and spacious shower. A second first-floor bedroom, complete with full bath and walk-in closet is located on the opposite side of the home.   Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms with full baths and walk-in closets. There is also an expansive game room that leads to a second screened-in porch that is perfect for sleeping outdoors.  Click here for first floor plans and here for second floor plans for Hampton Manor.
